Masks and returning to in-person school with Matt Cohen

Matt will present on the new mandates requiring students to wear masks at school and the circumstances under which a student may either be a) exempt from wearing a mask or b) entitled to receive remote services because they are unable to safely come to school due to the pandemic. Matt will discuss rights kids have to exemptions and strategies for safe participation at school, along with potential rights to better services during remote learning than are being offered by the school district.  Matt will also address how to respond to the school discipline of a student that is punished for not wearing a mask if the failure to do so is disability-related.
